How does Whole Plant Hemp Oil for Pets Work?

Hemp contains natural plant cannabinoids called Phytocannabinoids. There are over 100 different Phytocannabinoids, each with different effects. These include CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC, and THC to name a few.
Human and most animal (such as dogs and cats) bodies have a system called the Endocannabinoid System which is made up of of Endocannabinoid receptors located throughout the body. As part if this system, your pet’s body produces chemicals called Endocannabinoids, which are very similar to CBD and the other Phytocannabinoids

The reason, CBD and the other Phytocannabinoids work so well is your pet’s body is already setup to use them. Both Endocannabinoids and Phytocannabinoids attach to your body’s endocannabinoid receptors (CB1 & CB2) in order to activate them.
Once activated, they act like neurotransmitters, or messengers, between cells sending signals to different functions of the body that participate in mood, sleep, pain etc. This is called the Endocannabinoid System.

Endocannabinoids and Phytocannabinoids participate in a variety of processes relating to the pain-sensation, memory, mood and appetite. Scientists believe it may also regulate a multitude of physiological and cognitive processes which is why its become so important to many people’s daily lives.
What’s important to remember is each Phytocannabinoid is unique and does different things. This is why Hemp Lively’s Whole Plant Pet products are so effective as they have over 100 different Phytocannabinoids and Terpenes.

Give it at least 2 weeks before you’ll see the full effects. After the first two weeks, you may adjust your pet’s daily intake as needed. (Please see the Dosage Chart for daily intake.)
